Lewis Deaton
Lewis Deaton, 63, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon, March 24, 2012 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born May 7, 1948 in Blue Diamond, Ky., the son of the late David and Cora (Noble) Deaton.
Following retirement, he had enjoyed restoring cars and spending time with his family.
On April 10, 1968, in Dayton, he married his wife of 43 years, Linda (Combs) Deaton, and she survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Lewinda Deaton and a son, Lewis Deaton, Jr., both of Hillsboro; six sisters, Lola Watts, Glenna Baker, Vera (Gerald) Rice, Patricia (Danny) Baker, Teresa (Jamie) Deaton and Treva (Dale) Vires, and a brother, Ricky (Emma) Deaton, all of Kentucky; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Deaton; five brothers, David, Wilgus, Earl, Merle and Carl Deaton; and three sisters, Zola Offill and Sandra and Janice Deaton.
A memorial service and celebration of Mr. Deaton’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
