Leona Ada Stewart
Leona Ada Stewart, 65, of South Salem, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1947 in Greenfield, the daughter of Ralph Haze and Mary Charlotte (Bunch) Washburn.
She was a member of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ in Greenfield. She was a former employee of Hood Packaging of Wilmington.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Stewart, whom she married on June 6, 1985; one son, Terry (Dana) Garrison of Hillsboro; two daughters, Teresa (Jay) Kellis of Greenfield and Pixie Garrison of South Salem; three stepsons, Larry Stewart of Chillicothe, Tony Stewart of Frankfort and Brian Stewart of Frankfort; five grandchildren, Kristin (Larry) Smith, Chad Garrison, Lissa Garrison, Kyle (Desiree) Garrison and Cassandra Garrison; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Uhrig of Chillicothe and Barbara Hughes of Columbus; eight nieces and nephews; and special friends, Delbert Thomas and Larry Shoemaker, both of Washington C.H., and Lori Liming of Grove City.
She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Washburn; one brother, Ralph Eugene Washburn; and both parents.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
