Larry Urban, 68, of Hillsboro, formerly of Cleveland, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011.
He was born Nov. 28, 1943 in Cleveland, the son of the late George and Katherine (Gleaser) Urban.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era. He loved photography, airplanes and covered bridges.
He is survived by his wife Ann M. (Huffman) Urban; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly Urban of Lakewood, Shannon and Tim Eaton of Hillsboro, and Amanda and Pat Parshall of Leesburg; five grandchildren, Kayla, Jonah, Noah, Zander and Liberty; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lenny and Debbie Urban of North Royalton, and Paul and Anita Urban of Jacksonville, Ark.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita Schubert of Lakewood, Mary Ann and Ray Friedman of Troy, Va., and Sandy and Tom Voltman of Seven Hills.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Military rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Family requests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati 45203.
