Larry F. Malott
Larry F. Malott, 68, of Dayton, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Dayton, the son of the late John L. and Helen K. (Kessinger) Malott.
He was a very active member of the Dayton area deaf community, and was a lifelong member of the Dayton Association of the Deaf. He enjoyed movies and sports, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
He is survived by three sons, Jeff Malott and his wife, Ashley, of Springdale, Ark., Joe Malott and his wife, Crystal, of Wilmington, N.C., and Jason Malott of Dayton; seven grandchildren, Brittney, Justin, Matt, Cody, Angel, Emma Jo and Darby Malott; and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Malott.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Saturday in Lynchburg at the funeral home.
