Larry "Effie" Johnson, 64, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 7, 1947 in Ross County, the son of Adam and Bessie (Smart) Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Koch) Johnson, whom he married July 30, 1977; one daughter, Tammy (James Hess) Johnson of Blue Creek; one son, Larry (Jackie Guysinger) Johnson of Greenfield; one grandson, James Hess Jr.; two granddaughters, Carol Ann Smolk and Amber Robinette; one brother, Ted (Kathy) Johnson of Chillicothe; five sisters, Irene Worford, Jenny Stone, Mable Vest, Mildred Doyle and Shirley Cantrell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Wilbur Johnson; and his parents.
Services will be held Friday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with pastor Craig Corey officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of service on Friday.
