Kimberley Ann Smithson, 50, of Hillsboro died Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Seaman.

She was born Jan. 25, 1962 in Cincinnati the daughter of Helen F. Lewis Catron of Sugar Tree Ridge and the late Lonnie L. Catron.

Mrs. Smithson was a customer service representative for the Burke Company.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Phillip D. Smithson whom she married on May 29, 2004; two children, Brandy Bender of Hillsboro and Johnny Shane Shaffer of Wilmington; five grandchildren, Hailey Snider, Hayden Bender, Jullian, Landon and Talon Shaffer; and two brothers, Jeff Catron of Hillsboro and Chris (Cindy) Catron of New Richmond.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at the Sugar Tree Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Rick Cole will officiate. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
