Kay Bobb, 73, of Chillicothe, formerly of the Rainsboro Community, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born on July 10, 1937 at Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Harry E. and Thelma R. (Walter) Hibbler. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death on June 17, 2008 by her husband J. Roger Bobb, whom she married on Jan. 7, 1972.
She retired from the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Connie (John) Swayne of Washington C.H.; one brother, Michael (Valrey) Hibbler of Frankfort; one niece, Melissa (Tom) Posey of Bourneville; one great-nephew Josh Posey; one great-niece, Courtney Posey; and a special friend, Lois Peabody of Rainsboro.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Joni Manson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhoads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
