Julia (Cullom) Marguerite McCarty

Julia (Cullom) Marguerite McCarty, 53, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her home.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1958 in Washington C.H., the daughter of, Lloyd and Barbara (Bartley) Cullom Bey.
She was a member of Greenfield Church of Christ. She had been a school bus driver for Hills & Dales, and Highland County Community Action. She was a 1976 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.
She is survived by three sons, Aaron Trefz of Salem, Eric Trefz and Lance Trefz both of Greenfield; two brothers, Michael (Barb) Cullom of Greenfield and Luke Cullom of Hillsboro; two nephews, Jared (Elena) Cullom of Greenfield and Bill Cullom of Columbus; mother, Barbara Cullom Bey of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Donna McCarty; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; many close and dear friends, Mrs. Ann Shuster and her daughter Susie Roads, Lynn Cruea, Jane Feltner, Emma McGarr, and Gerry Crouch, and all the workers at Greenfield Head Start.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd R. Cullom in 2001, who always made her smile; and both grandparents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
