Judith I. Kerns, 62 of Wilmington, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at her residence.
She was born in Pike County on April 21, 1949, the daughter of the late Arthur Earl and Garnett Marie (Chaney) Legg.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, John Mark and Penny Kerns of Latham and Matthew Kerns of Wilmington; one daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Jeff Ball of Latham, two brothers, Don Legg of Lakeland, Fla., and Roger Legg of Chillicothe; one sister, Edith Smith of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Dianna Newsome and Tom Newsome; and one great-grandchild, Elissa Jo.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Donald Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
