Juanita Mathews

Juanita Mathews, 86, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at Hearth & Care Rehabilitation and Nursing of Greenfield.
She was born May 2, 1927 in Greenfield, the daughter of Wayne and Laura (Poole) Munyan.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by six sons, Daniel Mathews, Ronald Mathews, Mark (Debbie) Mathews, Donald (Teresa) Mathews, Jeffery Mathews, and Kevin (Amber) Mathews, all of Greenfield; two daughters, Laura Jane Brigner of Greenfield and Wanda (Mike) Myers of Hillsboro; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one halfbrother, Estel (Carol) Wright of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mathews, on Oct. 9, 1998; one son, Terry Mathews; one daughter, Tina Mathews; one son-in-law, Irvin “Buzz” Brigner; one daughter-in-law, Glenda Mathews; one grandson, Charles “Chuck” Brigner; one granddaughter, Jodi Daugherty; one great-grandson, Brigam Bolender; three brothers, John, Paul, and Roy Munyan; and both parents.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with burial to follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
