Juanita Lowe, 83, of Hillsboro, died Monday morning, Aug. 8, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Tipp City, Ohio. 
She was born Nov. 12, 1927 in Booneville, Ky., the daughter of the late George Smith Sr. and the late Mary Sandlin Smith Gabbard. 
She had worked for the Hercules Trouser Company in Hillsboro for more than 20 years and had also worked at the Hillsboro Sundry Store. She was a member of the Resurrected Truth Ministries in Hillsboro. 
She is survived by two daughters Mary (Darryl) Collier of Tipp City, Ohio, Le Ann Newman of Dublin, Ohio, one son, Franklin (Kit) Lowe Jr. of Hillsboro, one son-in-law, Charles "Jack" Seymour of Hillsboro, 11 grandchildren, 31 great- and great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ann Hall of Seymour, Ind., Marjorie (Bob) Sluss of Hillsboro and two brothers, Don (Louise) Gabbard and Harry (Loretta) Gabbard of Austin, Ind. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on March 19, 2006 by her husband Franklin A. Lowe Sr., whom she had married on April, 24, 1946 in Covington, Ky.; one daughter, Marilyn Jeanette Seymour, one grandson, Samuel Joseph Seymour, one granddaughter, Jacqueline J. Seymour, four brothers, DeWitt, David and Wade Gabbard and George Smith Jr. 
Services will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 11 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery. 
Friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
