Joshua Frederick Tyler, 20, of the Sugartree Ridge community, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at his home.
He was born May 2, 1991 in Cincinnati, the son of Lige Leroy and Nancy Jo Dunn Tyler, Sr.
He had attended the Southern Hills Joint Vocational School and was a 2009 graduate of Eastern High School. After high school, he attended Eastern Kentucky University.
He is survived by his parents, Lige and Nancy Tyler; brother Lige (Rachel) Tyler, Jr., of Hillsboro; niece on-the-way Payten Bailee Tyler; maternal grandfather Clarence F. Swartz of Winchester; maternal great-grandmother Nancy Dunn of London, Ky.; aunts and uncles, Robert Tyler, Lisa Tyler, Terri Tyler and Tina Tyler, all of Holton, Ind., Debbie Arehart of Mt. Orab, Tangy Hutton of Peebles, and Richard Dunn of Somerset, Ky.; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Violet Tyler; maternal grandmother Mary Swartz; and uncles Chris and Boyce Edward Dunn.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at the Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ. Drew Lane will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the church.
