Joseph E. Wilson, 92, of Leesburg, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1920 in Washington C.H., the son of Earnest Wilson and Edith (Wilt) Wilson.
He was a truck driver and most recently a greeter at Walmart in Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Straley) Wilson, whom he married in 1983; two sons, John (Jodi) Wilson and Jack Wilson; one daughter, Joan Carol Metton; three stepdaughters, Kim Fouch, Konnie (Kevin) Kensinger, Susan Rinehart; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother; one sister; and both parents.
Cremation will take place, followed by a graveside service in the Woodlawn Cemetery of Bowersville, at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation observed.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
