John R. Potter, 67, of Lake Waynoka, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Wednesday, June 3, 1942 in Dayton, Ky., the son of the late Maurice Potter Sr. and the late Ruth Molloy Potter.
He was retired from Cincinnati Milicron after 32 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Melody Potter, of Lake Waynoka; a stepson, Shawn (Dani) Kerans of Amelia; a brother, Maurice Potter Jr., of Fla.; a sister, Deborah (David) Fullerton, of Fla.; two grandchildren, Damien & Arienne; mother & father-in-law, Erroll & Catherine Parks of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Melinda Parks of Hillsboro; several nieces & nephews; and several great nieces & great nephews.
Friends will be received 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio.
Services will be held at Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Mong officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
