John Mitchell “Mitch” Gray, 48, of New Vienna, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at his home.

He was born June 21, 1964 in Dayton, the son of Troy and Billi Childs Gray of Seaman.

Mr. Gray was a federal rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Wilmington for 20 years.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by, his wife, Kathy Christman Gray, whom he married on Aug. 30, 2008 in Clarksville; one daughter, Molli Gray of Wilmington; one son, Zack Gray of North Carolina; two step-daughters, Kelly (Joseph) Sowers of Wilmington,
and Elizabeth (Robert) Harris of Wilmington; one step-granddaughter, Hanna Emmaline Lunsford of Wilmington; one brother, Doug Gray (Rhonda) of Midland; one sister, Tammy Muncy and Brandy of Batavia; one aunt, Peggy Black of Miamisburg; two nieces, Christy Muncy and Samantha Gray; two nephews, Deke Muncy and Nate Gray; five great-nieces and nephews, Brianna, Braylon, Briceson, Braiden and Derek; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Christman of Winchester; and brothers-in-law, Tim Christman of Winchester and Jim (Wanda) Christman of Belfast.

Services and visitation will be held at the convenience of the family on Monday, Nov. 26. Burial will follow in the Goshen Cemetery.
