John D. Hart
John D. Hart, 68, of New Vienna, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Highland District Hospital.
He was born Oct. 9, 1944 in Ansted, W.Va., the son of the late Arnold and Nettie Neff Hart.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, the former Kay Safford.
Also surviving are his children: Dennis Dean Hart, Dennise Dawn Hart, both of Summersville, W.Va., Vince Stineman of O'Fallon, Ill., Angel (Mitch) Dials of Lewis Center, grandchildren; Aspen Prather, Denver Prather, Emily Stineman, nine nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-nephew; sisters, Ruth Hogg of Ansted, W.Va., Joella Herbert of Fayetteville, W.Va., and Patsy McGraw of Ansted, W.Va.; brothers, George Hart of Landrum, S.C., and Allen (Felicia) Hart of Ansted, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hart; and sister, Norene Emogene Hart.
He was a graduate of Ansted High School. He had worked and retired from DHL in Wilmington, Tecumseh Products, where he was a supervisor for 17 years, and worked for the Schwann food service.
He attended the Lees Creek Church of Christ. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 343 of Nevada, Ohio, Elks Lodge 129 of Washington C.H., and the Moose Lodge of Delaware.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Ebright Funeral Home in Frankfort with the Rev. Dan Bill officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
In keeping with John's wishes, following the funeral service, cremation will take place.
