Jennie Lee Morgan, 77, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her home.

She was born Nov. 20, 1934 in Penn Township, Highland County, the daughter of the late Estie and Hazel Reveal Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. “Bob” Morgan, whom she married on April 4, 1953 in Hillsboro; three sons, David Morgan of Little Rock Ark., Danny Morgan of Hillsboro, and Donald “Duck” Morgan of Leesburg; two daughters, Debbie Morgan of Hillsboro and Joyce Myers of Dayton; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jessie (Sylvia) Smith of Wilmington and Chuck (Bonnie) Smith of Midland; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Morgan of Hillsboro; one brother-in-law, Chester “Pete” Hoffer of Otway; two sisters, Joan Woolums of Phoenix, Ariz. and Diana (Dale) Rayburn of Hillsboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dennis “Flash” Morgan; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gene, Richard “Dickie” and J.B. Smith; and one sister, Betty Hoffer.

Mrs. Morgan’s wishes were that at her death she be cremated and no services observed.
