Jean Elizabeth McMahan, 93, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at The Laurels of Blanchester.  

She was born March 30, 1918, in Norwood, a daughter of the late James S. and Ora E. (Elliott) Vickery.  

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lynchburg.  

She is survived by two children, Patricia Ann Eidenier of Lynchburg and Richard Charles McMahan of Johns Creek, Ga.; a grandson, Daniel (Jana) Eidenier of Fort Wright, Ky.; a step-granddaughter, Natalie Parlier of Johns Creek, Ga.; as well as several stepgreat-grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Richard Paul McMahan, who passed away Nov. 2, 1992; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl McMahan.  

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Skipper will officiate.  There will be no public visitation.
