Jane Wesley Shepherd, 57, of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 surrounded by her family at home.

She was born Jan. 4, 1955 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Ralph Maurice and Charlotte Elizabeth (Hinkle) Wesley.

She was a member of the Wilmington Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, James G. Shepherd Jr. of Martinsville; her children, Stacie Bartlett of Blanchester, Howie (Robin) Grosnickle of Owensville, Kimberly Grosnickle of Martinsville, Jamie Shepherd of Greenfield, and Jessica Shepherd of Greenfield; several grandchildren; brother, Rusty (Jill) Wesley of Milford; parents-in-law, James and Betty Shepherd Sr. of Martinsville; and two sisters, Barbara Wesley of Ludlow, Ky. and Paulette Wesley of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Wesley.

Services were Monday, Dec. 3 at the Wilmington Church of God, with the Rev. Elizabeth J. Looney officiating. Interment was in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Martinsville.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Crossroads Hospice for the care and kindness they showed Jane and the family.

Memorials may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
