Jamie Lee Williamson, 39, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at his home in Jacksonville.
He was born Dec. 18, 1972 in Cincinnati.
He was a talented auto painter, working in that field his entire working life. At a very young age, he fell in love with the ocean and has been an avid surfer since he was 13 years old.
He is survived by his parents, John and Hallie Griffith II of Hamilton; grandmother Loretta Hurst of Stanford, Ky.; grandparents John and Helen Griffith of Hillsboro; sister Heather Miller of Middletown; two nieces, Jazmine and Skylin; great-nephew Casjhden; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dewey Hurst; brother Michael Williamson; and uncle Jamie Griffith.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. It was Jamie's wish to be cremated and have his remains placed in the ocean following services. Following services, Jamie's family will travel to Florida to comply with Jamie's request.
