James Marcus Zurface, 51, of Wilmington, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 at his residence in Wilmington.
He was born Nov. 7, 1959 in Wilmington, the son of the late James E. Zurface and Ada L. (Smith) Zurface, who survives in Sabina.
On Feb. 13, 1982 in Clarksville, he married Karen L. Smith Zurface, who survives.
He retired as a corrections officer for the Lebanon Correction Facility.
In addition to his wife and mother, other surviving family members are his son, Michael Zurface, at home; daughter, Kristina (Kyle) Wolfe of Wilmington; grandson, Christian Wolfe; mother-in-law, Doris Smith of Wilmington; and two brothers, Derek (Shawna) Zurface of Nancy, Ky., and Chris (Darlene) Zurface of Hillsboro.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Gerald Smith.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
