James Lee Brown, 64, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 1, 1948 in Hillsboro, the son of Melvin and Betty Jean (McCarty) Brown, Jr.
He retired in 2011 from the Mason Fence Company in Leesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue (Steiner) Brown, whom he married on April 10, 1965; one son, James Lee Brown, Jr. of Hillsboro; two granddaughters, Christina Nicole Brown and Taylor Brooke Brown; one sister Linda Harrington of Hillsboro; two brothers, Estel (Pam) Brown of Hillsboro and Donald (Kim) Brown of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Richard and Tom Brown; one nephew, Tommy Harrington; one brother-in-law, Tom Harrington; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Brother Dallas Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses in care of the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
