Jackie Glenn Poole, Sr., 70, of New Cumberland, W.Va., died Monday, April 16, 2012 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 20, 1941 in Sardinia, the son of the late John Chester & Helen Mae (Wilmoth) Poole.
He was an agent for the Mountaineer Jockeys.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Poole, Jr.; and one brother, Danny Ray Poole.
He is survived by his wife Louise (Borgemenke) Poole, whom he married on Nov. 4, 1960, four sons, Jeff Poole of Florida, Joey Poole of Grove City, Johnny Poole of West Virginia and Jami Poole of West Virginia; two daughters, Natalie Rutherford of West Virginia and Lisa Ritchie of West Virginia; one sister, Tudy Poole of Sardinia; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at noon, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with burial in the Buford Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. till time of service at noon at Thompson Funeral Home.
