Jack H. Batchelor, 93, of Frankfort, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Valley View Care Center in Frankfort.
He was born in Macon, Ga. on May 5, 1919, the son of the late William M. and Carrie Batchelor.
He had been a minister and carpenter and loved to fish.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Tina Batchelor of Orlando, Fla. and Paul and Sheila Batchelor of Leesburg; five daughters and sons-in-law, Nita Jean Batchelor of Kentucky, Robin and David Harris of Cleveland, Tenn., Jobetta and Russell Dykes of Charleston, Tenn., Lynn Ramsey of Cleveland, Tenn. and Sharon and Cephas White of Cleveland, Tenn.; 35 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Charlie and Jack D. Batchelor; one daughter, Cathy Batchelor; one grandson, Alec Lee Crider; and one brother, Andrew Batchelor.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Batchelor and Pastor Dennis Patterson officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
