Helen J. Zile
Helen J. Zile, 97, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at The Laurels of Hillsboro where she had resided for the past year.
She was born march 26, 1915 in Lawshe, the daughter of the late Sheridan and Ethel (Dalrymple) Davidson.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Zile; two step- sons, Charles and Robert Zile; two grandsons; one great-grandson; and sisters, Naomi Campbell, Ruth Cooper, Winiford Lewis, Edith Keller and Lois Swisshelm.
She graduated from Peebles High School in 1932. In December 1942, she was united in marriage to Arthur Zile. They resided on a farm near Locust Grove and she raised his three sons, James, Charles and Robert. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist.
She is survived by one step-son James (Norma) Zile of Cincinnati; daughter-in-law, Grace Zile of Cincinnati; sisters, Audra Burns of Hillsboro, Charlotte Coulter of Bethel, and Eleanor Davidson of Kettering; six step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at the Locust Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.
