Hazel Virginia Barnett, 90, of Latham, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Dec. 4, 1920 in Centerville, the daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel (Rossnagle) Barnett.
She was a 1962 graduate of the University of Dayton and retired from Western Latham School District, where she taught elementary grades at Idaho and Parker Schools.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher and Anthony Tetzlaff of Latham; one daughter, Christine Belhasen of Corpus Christi, Texas.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, John and Joseph Barnett, and two sisters, Ruth Welbaugm and Margaret Allen.
According to her wishes, there will be no services held.
