Harold Brummett, 69, of Washington Court House, formerly of the Blanchester area, died Thursday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2011 at the Country Glenn Nursing Center.

He was born May 20, 1942, in Bell County, Ky., a son of the late John and Annie (Lawson) Brummett.

He is survived by three children, Earl Gene Brummett of Blanchester, John (Tammy) Brummett of Hillsboro and Barbara (Joe) Saylor of Kentucky; a step-daughter, Mary Ann Noble of Covington, Ky.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Mary Lewis of Lynchburg, Thomas (Georgia) Brummett of Blanchester, Caroline Brummett of Wilmington, Darlene (Keith) Underwood of Lynchburg, Willie (Vickie) Brummett of Blanchester and Elsie (Donald) Cameron of Blanchester.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Pastor Delbert Saylor will officiate. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m.
