Guylene Florence Getz, 68, of Hillsboro died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born April 4, 1944 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Guy and Florence Huber Shaffer.

Mrs. Getz had worked for several years for the Highland County Water Company. She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Alan Getz; one son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Kim Nartker of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Rich Corzatt of Leesburg; and five grandchildren, Makenna and Sydney Corzatt of Leesburg and Guy, Gage and Gunner Nartker of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Mike Hodge will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to Cure PSP, 30 E. Padonia Road, Suite 201, Timonium, Maryland 21093.
