Guy F. Hayslip, Jr., 85, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at his residence in Berrysville.
He was born July 3, 1926 in Scioto County, the son of the late Guy F Hayslip Sr. and Jossie Entler Hayslip. He worked as a water well driller for over 50 years.
Surviving are a son, Dick (Carol) Hayslip of Martinsville; eight grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hayslip; a daughter, Peggy Campbell; and three brothers, James Ferman Hayslip, Eugene Hayslip and Vincent Oman Hayslip.
Graveside services will be held at Rushtown Cemetery in Rushtown, Ohio on Aug. 12 at 1 p.m.
