Grace Doris Angles, 81, of Hillsboro died Saturday morning, Feb. 12, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 19, 1929 in Charleston, W.Va., the daughter of the late Donsel T. and Olive Mae Hartwell Smith. Mrs. Angles had worked for several years for Timberlane Sporting Goods in Hillsboro.
She is survived by her husband, Claude V. Angles, whom she had married on Sept. 23, 1946 in Ashland, Ky.; three children, Judy (John) Huebner of Hillsboro, Vernon (Janie) Angles of Hillsboro, and Deborah Hill of Columbus; five grandchildren, Todd E. (Amy) Huebner of Hillsboro, Brent H. (Rainee) Angles of Hillsboro, Ryan (Neda) Daniels of Grove City, Tara Talbott of Hillsboro, and Lori Huebner of Hillsboro; eight great-grandchildren, Thomas, Trevor, Temika and Trenton Talbott, Corbin Huebner, Lex Daniel Angles, Logan Huebner and Jason Huebner; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Sternburgh and Charles E. Smith.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
