Gladys Marie Browne, 85, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born Dec. 3, 1925 in Flint, Mich., the daughter of the late George and Arlie (Staggs) Riddle.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, June and Glenn Stratton of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Don (Marian) Lewis of Lynchburg and Cheryl Storer of Hillsboro; eight great-grandchildren, Larry Storer, Chad Storer, Amber Perry, Anthony Perry, Angela Perry, Adam Perry, Cody Stratton and Elizabeth (Lee) Littler; and two great-great-grandchildren, Isabella Storer and Kye Norman.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Harold Baumgardner, Calvin Pence and Harold Browne; one daughter, Joan Lewis; one sister, Carol Sherman; and one brother, Harold Riddle.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the West Union IOOF Cemetery.
