Gladys B. (Schroter) Wunker
Gladys B. (Schroter) Wunker, 86, of Greenfield, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
She was born Jan. 3, 1925 in Kinmount, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Bert and Lottie Mae (Swinson) Schroter.
She was a member of Christian Union Church, formerly of Berrysville. She served as a Missionary with Missionary Gospel Fellowship since 1954 and UFM International, serving in Guatemala, Dominican Republic, New Mexico, and other areas of missionary work.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie (Jeff) Parr of Greenfield; three sons, Paul Wunker of Winston-Salem, N.C., Steven Wunker of Crestview, Fla., and Roger (Tina) Wunker of Wintston-Salem N.C.; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Schroter of Haliburton, Ontario, Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Wunker on Oct. 23, 2006; two sons, Terry Andrew and Carl Herbert Wunker; two sisters, Grace Wills and Ruth Schrader; four brothers, Harry, Carl, Arnold and Ralph Schroter; one granddaughter, Dawn Parr; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Pastor Robert Chroninger officiating, with burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
