Geraldine L. Board, 85, of Clayton, died Jan. 5, 2012 at Stone Springs of Vandalia.
She was born Aug. 21, 1926 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Georgeanna West Cole.
Mrs. Board had worked as a press operator for Pantorium in Dayton Ohio for 32 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Leslie Kittrells of Clayton and Cynthia Williams of Dayton; six grandchildren, Ty Tyler, Tammy and Latasha Owens, and Brian and Briyonna Thomas and Terree Stevenson; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jon (Arlene) Cole and Larry (Mary) Cole of Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Board; four sisters, Shirley Cole, Alice Thomas, Freda Nelson and Fern Stevenson; and five brothers, Charles E., George Fredrick, Richard, Rudy and Thomas Cole.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Friends may call on Friday from noon-1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
