Georgia Marie (Medley) Freeland, 82, of Hillsboro, went home to join her heavenly Father on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
Georgia was born on Sept. 9, 1930 in Sabina, the daughter of the late Morris and Addie (Ross) Medley.
Mrs. Freeland was an avid dog lover as well as a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Earl Freeland, Jr., whom she married on June 5, 1958 in Kettering; three sisters, Dessie Beane of Leesburg, Bernice Waller of Cedarville and Wanita Gladman of Springfield; one brother, James (Brenda) Medley of Beavercreek; one sister-in-law, Evelyn (Freeland) Evans of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends James and Minda McGuire of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Anthony Freeland; four brothers-in-law; and her beloved dog Brownie.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Richard Burns will officiate. Internment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
