Geneva Evelyn (Bales) Chrisman, 91, of the community of Samantha, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 17, 2012 at Hearth and Care in Greenfield.
She was born April 28, 1921 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Nathan and Rosalee (Shoemaker) Bales.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Brown of Sabina and Joanne (Bales) Helterbrand and her husband Bobby of Greenfield; and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Bales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Chrisman, who passed away in 1982; a nephew (who she raised), Robert Bales; and a special friend, Herbert Thompson.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at the Stringtown Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
