Gary B. Reno, 67, of Hillsboro died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 11, 1944 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Vollie W. and Margaret Badgley Reno.
Mr. Reno had been a self-employed truck driver for 48 years. He was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, had been a Washington Township trustee for 16 years and had served in the Ohio National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Cornelius Reno, whom he married on April 27, 1968; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jill Reno of Hillsboro; two grandsons, Gary Reno Jr. and Jay Reno; three sisters, Patti Shaffer of Hillsboro, Rebecca Jo Keeney of Columbus, and Sylvia (Stanley) Brannen of Hillsboro; one brother, Tony M. (Nadine) Reno of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marion Reno.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Mick Parks will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
