Gabrealle Akram, one day old son of Ernest and Brandi Pitts Akram, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Rosalie Akram of Hillsboro; maternal grandparents, Robin and Shane Pitts of Hillsboro; paternal grandfather, Chris Covarrubias of Portsmouth; maternal great-grandparents, Carol Fox of Hillsboro, Linda Pitts of Hillsboro and Arnold Pitts of Peebles; paternal great-grandparents, Ramona Jarrelds and Dave Mahon, both of Portsmouth; one aunt, Rachel Purtee of Hillsboro; and two uncles, Chance and Storm Pitts.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at the Harriett Church, 3891 Harriett Road, Hillsboro.
