Freda Maxine Jackson, 65, of Greenfield, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 at her home.
She was born Dec. 19, 1945 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Lowery Vernon Cowman and Margaret (Willett) Cowman.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Tim (Tammy) Cowman of South Salem; three daughters, Michelle (Allen) Moon, Dena (Floyd) Beatty, and Nicki Crusie, all of Greenfield; two brothers, Joe Cowman and Carl Cowman, both of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Barber of Greenfield, Judy Cowman of Greenfield, Kathy (Charles) Hackworth of Columbus, Joellen McCoy of Washington C.H., and Nellie (Joseph) Bailey of Greenfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Amber Johnson of Greenfield and Donetta Vandemark of South Salem.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Jackson, on Aug. 12, 2000; three brothers, Tom, Fred, and Butch Cowman; and two sisters, Sherry Everetts and Pat Hatfield.
Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Kay Austin officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.
