Fred Robert Everhart
Fred Robert Everhart, 55, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born on Jan. 18, 1957 in Fayette County, the son of James Alfred and Meleda Lee (Young) Everhart.
Presently, he was an insurance agent at Lewis Insurance Agency in Greenfield, formerly a federal inspector for the USDA, he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and treasurer at the Emmanuel Christian Church in Greenfield, and a 1975 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda (Bergstedt) Everhart, whom he married on March 4, 1978; one son, Anton Steven Everhart of Fairborn; one brother, James Steven (Pam) Everhart of Greenfield; one sister, Leah Kay “Katy” (Christopher) Lewis of Bainbridge; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, including uncle Chuck (Carol) Young of Greenfield; mother, Meleda Everhart of Greenfield; and a special person, Tyler Smith of Washington C.H.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Everhart.
Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at the Emmanuel Christian Church, 12281 Cameron Drive, Greenfield, with Pastor Larry Maynard officiating. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday until time of service at the church.
