Fred Gene Younker, 43, of Blanchester, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 1, 1968 in Wilmington, the son of the late Harold and Phyllis Marshall Younker.
Mr. Younker had worked for several years with the Waynesville Lumber Company.
He is survived by his wife, Tina M. Woodward Younker, whom he had married on Oct. 15, 1989 in Circleville; one daughter, Kayjean Younker of Hillsboro; one son, Freddie Younker Jr. of Blanchester; one granddaughter, Summer Rose Peterson; two sisters, Sherry Peterson of Hillsboro, Stephanie (Christian) Henderson of Hillsboro, one brother, Kenny (Linda) Younker of Circleville; four nieces, Stacy Younker, Heather, Nicole and Gwen Snider; and two nephews, Jonathon and Shawn Peterson, four great nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Younker and one brother, Richard Younker.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. Robert Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
