Frankie "Gay" Turner

Frankie “Gay” Turner, 73, of Chillicothe died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at the Chillicothe Healthcare and Rehab Center.
She was born Dec. 23, 1940 in Whitesburg, Ky., the daughter of the late Wilson and Ida Smith Watts.
On May 5, 1958 she married Oakley Turner who died Aug. 17, 2004.
Frankie is survived by her children, Nanna Park of Chillicothe, Jackie (Steve) Coey of South Salem and Charles Turner of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Travis and Kara Carroll, Chrystal (Joey) Miller, Emily Turner, Kyle White, Charles (Amber) Turner, Jr. and Clint (Cassidy) Turner; stepgrandchildren, Nathaniel and Tah-Wee-Nah Coey; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Saylers of Alabama and brother-in-law, Jack (Martha) Turner of Springfield.
She was predeceased by one sister and five brothers.
Frankie attended the High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union. She loved gardening and will be missed by many.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the Adena Hospice for the love and care they gave her the last few weeks.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with the Rev. Bruce Viar officiating. Burial will follow in the East Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
