Frank J. Grasso, 76, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lawrence, Ma. on March 18, 1936, the son of Salvatore and Katherine Marie (Valerio) Grasso.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rosemary Fulton.

He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, was an industrial engineer having retired from the Teledyne-Ryan and was a veteran serving in the Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Cherrie A. (Erickson) Grasso, whom he married on Aug. 2, 1968; two sons, Paul Grasso of Wilmington and John Grasso of Hillsboro; two daughters and sons- in-law, Cathy and Todd Lange of Temecola Calif. and Linda and Brad Lakes of Clarksville; 13 grandchildren, Todd Jerald Lange, Jr., Samantha Kay Lange, Nicole Frances Lange, Katelyn Lakes, Cassandra Lakes, Briana Lakes, Ashley Lakes, Hayden Lakes, Nate Lakes, Julia Lakes, Logan Lakes, Ben Lakes and Parker Lakes.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 10 at 11 a.m. at the New Market Baptist Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army
