Florence Marie Large, 81, of Hillsboro, died on Tuesday Nov. 13, 2012 at home.

She was born in Darke County on April 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Melissa Ellen (Root) Drake.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter; one brother; and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Large. She had a son, Steven Ray Large of Goshen Ind.; two daughters, Linda Holland of Hillsboro and the late Connie Sue Myers, one brother, the late Paul Drake; three sisters, Alvenia Carpenter of West Chester, the late Goldie Yount and Lucille Baxter. She had 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be at Rest haven Memory Gardens in Hillsboro.

Friends may call on Friday from noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
