Ethel L. Young, 90, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

She was born Dec. 14, 1921 in Trenton, the daughter of the late Philip Baden Young and Mary Brown Young.

She was a compassionate person, always concerned for the well being of her friends. She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ. She had many friends there who loved her and did many things for her. She and her brother, Paul, were farmers and worked hard to be independent. She was an example of humility and Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Lee Young.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Darin Sanderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomrose Cemetery. Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.
