Ethel Henize Doddridge, 95, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Quaker Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Waynesville.
She was born March 24, 1915 in Mariemont, the daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Schadle Habermehl, Sr.
She had worked as a seamstress for the Hercules Trouser Company.
She is survived by one brother, Stanley Habermehl of Augusta, Ky.; one sister Ruth Laycock of Augusta, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Henize, Sr.; her son, William Henize, Jr.; a sister, Betty Appleman; and a brother, Richard Habermehl, Sr.
Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Burial will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation
will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
