Ervene M. 'Beanie' Massie

Ervene M. “Beanie” Massie, 86, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at home.
 
She was born Nov. 13, 1937 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Russell and Marguerite (Livingston) Carpenter.
 
She was a former employee of Bob & Carl’s, McDonald’s, Dollar General, United Department Store, Blake’s Coffee Shop and Pearce’s Restaurant, all of Greenfield. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
 
She is survived by two granddaughters, Crystal Massie of Greenfield and Myra Massie of Indiana; one daughter-in-law, Tina Gundrum of Indiana; and special friends, George Shoemaker and Herb Harmon, both of Greenfield.
 
She was preceded in death by two sons, Bill Massie and Pat Massie; one brother, Russell Carpenter Jr.; and both parents.
 
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
