She was born May 31, 1976 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Charles and Regina Captain Zimmerman, Jr.
Erica was a 1994 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a faithful employee of the Hillsboro Wal-Mart. She loved her family, friends and job.
She is survived by her mother, Regina Zimmerman of Hillsboro; siblings, Kourtney Zimmerman of Columbus, Jessica Zimmerman of Columbus, Antonio Captain of Washington C.H. and Jody Zimmerman of Wilmington; grandmother Sarah E. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
