Elsie G. Countryman, 95, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1917 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Marion Shoemaker and Eva Harris Shoemaker.
Mrs. Countryman was a member of the Belfast United Methodist Church, where she was also active in the United Methodist Women and Fellowship for One.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Malott, of Amelia; one son, Leslie (Mary Ann) Countryman of Queen Creek, Ariz.; four grandsons, Dan Malott, Ron Countryman, Randy Countryman and David Countryman; and three great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Derrik and Alexis Malott.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro with Pastors Janie Shoemaker and Mick Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at the funeral home, 2-4 p.m.
