Elsie Catherine Clouser, 89, of Greenfield, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 at Edgewood Manor in Greenfield.
She was born June 30, 1922 in Arlington, the daughter of Add H. and Anna (Riley) Jordan.
Mrs. Clouser worked at the American Pad and Textile Corporation in Greenfield until its closing and then was co-owner/operator of the Herman Clouser and Sons Scrapyard. She enjoyed attending church.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Lee (Shiela) Clouser of Greenfield and Larry Wayne Clouser of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Judith Clouser of Greenfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Junior Clouser, on Feb. 7, 1999; one infant son, Herman Lee Gene Clouser; one stillborn grandson; four brothers and two sisters; and both parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with pastor Tim Mohon officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
