Elizabeth A. "Libby" Musser

Elizabeth A. “Libby” Musser, 78, of Hillsboro died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at The Laurels in Hillsboro.
She was born March 2, 1935 in Fleming County, Ky., the daughter of the late William Farmer and Henrietta Royse Gregory.
Mrs. Musser had served as auditor for the city of Hillsboro for many years and had retired from the Joint Training Partnership of Highland County after several years of service.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161 Auxiliary where she had served as president and treasurer and was a member of the AmVets Post 61 Auxiliary and VFW Post 9094 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ronnie Musser; four children, Rick Goodrich of Waynesville, Doug Goodrich of Hillsboro, Rhonda (Ernie) Carey of Hillsboro and Rick Musser of Careytown; several grand and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Billie (Ralph) Michael of Hillsboro and Charlotte (Jay) Cooper of Hillsboro; one brother, Robert “Gene” (Marlys) Gregory of Vandalia; one half-brother, James Burke of Russellville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Goodrich; one sister, Vaneta “Tootsie” Gleadle; and two brothers, Carroll T. Gregory and William Clinton Gregory.
A celebration of Libby’s life will be held at the Turner & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday with Eagles Auxiliary service beginning at 7 p.m. Memorial services will immediately follow with Pastor Tom Zile officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
